What healthy friendships and "normal" look like
Why the drama increases
Unintended consequences of ineffective parental support

Let me show you how to:
Help your daughter feel loved and cared for despite the rejection she is experiencing
Empower her during a time when she feels lost and vulnerable
Help her learn to embrace and manage her own emotions in a healthy way
Keep the lines of communication open and flowing between you
Give advice (the right way) so you're truly helping her, not alienating her
Go from feeling helpless and alone to competent and confident in your ability to guide your daughter through girl drama
So, who am I and how do you know you can trust me?
Hi! I'm coach Sheri!
I’m the founder and CEO of Teen Wise, a company dedicated to helping teens and parents cope with and navigate the difficult ups and downs of adolescence.
I've been a featured guest on TV shows, radio shows and podcasts, and contributed articles to magazines. I've trained directly with Rachel Simmons, author of Enough As She Is and Odd Girl Out, and have attended the Teen Girl Life Coach training program and the International Coaching Academy.
What sets me apart from other parenting coaches? I have over 30 years of professional experience. My career began in the field of research in Neurology and Neuropsychology. I was involved in pediatric research projects focusing on learning differences, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, Tourette’s, Neurofibromatosis, and sexual abuse. Eventually, I took on the role as the GoGirlGo! Seattle Director promoting and creating curriculum to promote confidence and well-being in girls ages 8-13. Then, over 13 years ago, the doors to Teen Wise were opened, allowing me to continue my passion of supporting parents and adolescents.
Having raised three teenage girls, I understand, intimately, the struggles girls face during their preteen and teen years. When your daughter comes home from school crying and confused, she probably feels helpless, hopeless, angry, sad, and all the emotions in between.
Girl Drama can be exhausting but it can also be an opportunity for your daughter to build resilience and strength. My training, my extensive coaching experience, and my personal experience give me a great wealth of information to guide your daughter, and you, through these difficult times.
The middle and high school years are a time when your daughter establishes patterns and foundations that follow her into adulthood. These formative years are so important. Make sure your daughter has a healthy foundation that will last her a lifetime.
Let me help equip you with the tools and understanding you need to be there for your daughter during this time!
Take a look at what other parents have said about working with me:
Sheri is a pleasant, vibrant and compassionate person. In the few times I met with her when organizing an event, she even inspired and encouraged me to take on new and challenging projects for myself. Sheri had a very helpful, interactive presentation. I liked the way she asked the teens and parents the same questions and it was interesting to see the differences in our answers. It was eye-opening to me as a parent because I didn’t realize some of the teen perceptions and perspectives till I heard the answers they gave. Overall, Sheri helped me realize that teens today face somewhat different challenges than I did at their age and I need to listen to them more, and understand rather than assume I know what my kids are dealing with.
Great insight into looking at my daughter a unique individual…and not trying to impose my own self on her.
Parent at You Got This
Coaching met and went beyond my expectations. It was exactly what my daughter needed and really seemed to help her in the way she approaches things and thinks about things.

Sheri was instrumental in helping my daughter and I communicate. She didn’t just tell her that she needed to talk to me. She knew how to reach her and advise her, but not in a way that was threatening or “mom-ish”. My daughter was headed down a dangerous path when we reached out to Sheri, and she helped us both get back on track.
