TESTIMONIALS
What Parents Say
Coaching met and went beyond my expectations. It was exactly what my daughter needed and really seemed to help her in the way she approaches things and thinks about things
We wouldn't be where we are today without Coach Sheri's help. My daughter would still be alone on the weekends crying in her room. But now she has several friends and has a great the social life.
What Teens Say
I learned that I didn't need to change myself to have good friends. I'm shy and that's OK. I can still make friends.
I realize now that what I think of as flaws are just insecurities.Â
WHY CHOOSE TEEN WISE™ COACHING?
Â
At Teen Wise, we offer specialized coaching that goes beyond traditional therapy or general life coaching. Here’s why families choose us:
Â
With over 30 years of experience and a laser focus on the social and emotional world of teens, we’ve developed proven strategies that help teens and families navigate social challenges with confidence.
Â
We don’t just “work with teens”—we specialize in empowering girls to build confidence, manage friendships, and thrive in their social lives. This highly focused expertise allows us to deliver tailored support that truly makes an impact.
Â
Parents often tell us, “I’ve got my daughter back!” after just a few sessions. Our coaching isn’t about short-term fixes—it’s about equipping teens and parents with tools for long-term growth and success. The results aren't just for now. They are for forever.
Â
While therapy addresses deeper mental health needs, coaching is action-oriented and focused on helping your teen make tangible progress in their daily life. Our work complements therapy or can stand alone, depending on your family's needs.
Â
We understand that our rates might feel higher than you expect, but this reflects the specialized nature of our services, the expertise of our coaches, and the life-changing outcomes we provide. Consider it an investment in your child’s confidence, well-being, and future.
WHAT DOES COACHING COVER?
IDENTITY
Adolescence is a time to explore your identity. This might mean a big change in clothes, interests, friends, etc. The important piece is to feel comfortable with your identity.
CREATING FRIENDSHIPS
Your teen might find that don't have any friends or, as we like to call it, are in-between friendships. Understanding the dynamics of friendships will help them find that next bestie.
NAVIGATING GIRL DRAMA
Friendships are important and emotions are high in the teen years. This can lead to intense drama as teens learn how to navigate the social world. Your teen will learn tools to stop or minimze girl drama.
THE SPIRALS
The spirals are what we compassionately call the overthinking that happens for so many teens. It happens a lot right when their head hits the pillow. Strategies to calm the brain can ease anxiety and increase sleep.
SOCIAL ANXIETY
Social anxiety often comes from overthinking, a loud inner critic, and lack of social skills. Your teen can learn to silence the inner critic and have a plan for interacting with peers in a social setting.
EMOTIONAL REGULATION
Emotions are big during adolescence. Instead of acting like everything is "fine", it's important to know how to process and move through those emotions.
PARENT/TEEN COMMUNICATION
There is a big transition that happens when your teen moves into middle school and it affects your relationship with them. Often times, the transition ends up with a tense relationship and lack of communication between parent and teen. Using conversational intelligence, we'll get you back on track.
FOSTERING FRIENDSHIPS
Quite often, teens who have friends tell us that they still feel lonely. This is usually because they have kept their friendships on a very superficial level. Your teen will learn how to be vulnerable, how to be themselves, and how to disagree with good friends. All of these things create a deeper and more meaningful friendship.
Every teen is original and wonderful in their own way. We take that into consideration when we create a coaching plan. Each journey is unique and impactful.
